No movie captured the Reaganomics & 1st Bush eras in inner city America better than Boyz N The Hood. And a big lesson I learned from that movie growing up is that "the good die young". This piece pays homage to the number of friends I've lost to gun violence coming up in Boston. But also to those that have lost others in cities across the country...
